Rest & Sickness

I would like to thank my husband for giving me his sickness >-< I could just kill the man for bringing it home i swear next time he is sick he is sleeping on the porch! I don't care how cold or hot it is or whatever i will give him blankets and send him on his way!

I made another book cover last night. This time i did it a little different and i love how it turned out. I cut up the fabric to make it more patchworkie (it's not a word but i just made it one!) and then added an extra layer inside. I should of done that last time but wasn't thinking. I think i may sell these when i open up my little store.

I bought more books today. I cannot help myself when it comes to books if i find a good book i just can't pass it up. I have to buy it and now that i found half price books i buy a lot because hey they are only $1 or $5 most of the time. So anyway i have no idea just how many books i have but it's enough to start a small library lol I also bought a few classical cd's.

Well anyways i am feeling real sick I'm gonna go lay down and read for awhile then go to bed. Night

Sewing & Sickness

I woke up this morning around 6am with the worst headache. I took some Aleve and was finally able to fall back asleep. I ended up sleeping until 2pm and waking back up feeling like crap. I'm getting sick. My throat is starting to hurt and i just don't feel well. I managed to get the dishes done and get the dining room floor cleaned before all my energy was just gone.

Last night i made a shabby chic book cover for my books. It turned out so cute! This way peanut (my kitty) don't ruin my books. I always sit my books beside my bed and he thinks he can stretch out on them and scratch. Well at least now if he does that he won't be tearing my covers! Well anyway I'm gonna go make some green tea and watch a movie or something.

Lemons & Coco Wheats

I have no idea why but all of a sudden i am drawn to the smell of lemons. I just got back from the store where i looked for everything they had scented like lemons. I got several air fresheners, body wash and house cleaner and then i came home and searched the internet for candles. I don't know wtf is wrong with me lol

I got Jason to sit down and read Nicholas Sparks. Just a chapter but hey it's better then nothing. He decided he wants to write a novel after my several attempts i guess he thought he'd give it a try but he wants me to help write it. I think it would fun for us to write together but i have to get him to actually read a novel first. I must admit though, even without reading one he's done pretty good so far.

I was walking down an aisle at the store and there they were... COCO WHEATS! I looked everywhere for them and here the one store i didn't look had them. I came home and made a bowl for me and Jason. I assumed they quit selling them and i was heart broken because they were all i ate as a kid. I loved them so much that i remember when my momma got real sick one of the last things she said to me was "Why don't you ask me to make you Coco Wheats anymore" and i didn't have the heart to tell her it was just because she was to sick to do it. So finding them means so much to me it's a little reminder of times with my mom :)

Well i am so glad i decided to do this again. I keep wanting to blog at my website but i am on here more then my website so it makes more sense for me to do it here. This i might actually keep up with. I miss blogging and all the blogs i used to visit. Well time for me to go read in my room of lemons lol good night
